Open for inspection homes 22 - 28 February

Check out this weekend's Sunshine Coast homes open for inspection.

A buyer recently described to me the reason they decided they would choose to move to Mooloolah. They had stopped for a coffee at Kenny's and overlooked the park in the center of town. There were a group of school kids that had caught up on their push bikes to play without having their parents in tow.

The buyers felt that it was great to see that there are still areas around that this can happen and people feel safe enough to let their kids just be kids.

Now I could not sum up the feel for the area any better than that. The local shops and cafes work together with the community to organise functions and events to bring the community closer as well as raising funds for good local causes and it creates a great atmosphere.

Now why wouldn't you want to live in a community like that?

This property is close enough to be part of all this but also in a quiet cul-de-sac that gives you close access to areas like the Ewen Maddock Dam and all the infrastructure it has available. The property grounds include a waterway that has been landscaped through the lower section with bridges, grassed verges and beautiful established trees that are a great playground or just an amazing backdrop to sit back and enjoy.

The large three bay shed with power and water make a great workshop and with two smaller garden sheds so that the mower and other tools don't get in the way, it can stay a workshop. The resort style pool adjoins the large entertaining area that has a fully equipped outdoor kitchen so your summer afternoons are all catered for.

The home itself has all the mod cons such as ducted air conditioning, media room and separate living zones.

With two master bedrooms, having a teenage retreat or an area that mum or dad can live in with their own privacy is more than accommodated for. Living in a tropical oasis so central to town is rare and this property just gets better the more time you take to look around so take the time to do it, you might be surprised.
