A unique business opportunity in the foothills of the Lockyer Valley is waiting to be snapped up.
Operating as a sheep cheesery and ice creamery for almost a decade, Awassi Cheesery at 776 Sandy Creek Rd has a lot to offer.
Selling agent Lyn Sills said the property has been attracting a number of keen prospective buyers.
“I’ve had a lot of inquiries with some from overseas investors to people looking for a lifestyle change,” she said.
“Some of them have expressed interest in expanding the use of the property as a wedding venue.”
Ms Sills said the property had become a popular wedding venue, with room to expand the service on a larger scale.
The property was previously marketed at $2.85m which included stock and equipment, however due to illness the owners have decided to sell off stock and equipment separately.
Ms Sills said the property is now offered as a house and land package valued at $2.1m.
Sheep and cheese producing aside, the property also boasts a thriving avocado orchard as well as a growing mango orchard.
The property sits on 157 acres of land, providing a plethora of opportunity for the future owners.
