ONE of Buddina's first homes, untouched for more than 40 years, has come onto the market for the first time.

Built to live in by its only owners, 22 Pacific Boulevard, Buddina, comes with history and blue chip living.

Owned by the Flaskas family since 1974, the three-bedroom home has remained unchanged despite all the activity surrounding it.

It was there before Kawana Shoppingworld, before Buddina State School and before Point Cartwright Lighthouse.

Elite Lifestyle Properties agent Mark Unkel said it was amongst a dying breed of real estate.

"It is very rare for a house to be an untouched original up here," Mr Unkel said.

"All the kids grew up in the house, its history speaks for itself. Incredible that it has never been on the market.

"There is a lot of sentimental emotion attached to it but life goes on. Now it is an opportunity for someone else to create."

Wedged between the Mooloolaba Harbour and beach, it is one of only eight homes with dual views.

"The views to the harbour are actually the better views. At twilight, the lights go up all the way to Coolum," he said

"You can see through to the ranges and Glasshouse Mountains, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore. Then the ocean is on the other side.

"Already there has been quite a bit of local interest, interstate as well. We have had inquiries from Sydney who want the lifestyle here."

Mr Unkel said the entire Buddina district was a sought-after one, particularly with the focused upgrades to public transport and redevelopments of the shopping centre.

Whether they renovate or leave its character as is, is up to the new owners after the property goes under the hammer on April 14.
