4800 homes to be built in massive new Coast estate

CONSTRUCTION on a huge masterplanned community on the Coast is going full steam ahead - and it's not Caloundra South.

Construction on the largest masterplanned community in Palmview is going full steam ahead with Harmony by AVID Property Group set to welcome its first residents by Christmas.

Fifteen winners of the Harmony in the Air competition and their guests were offered the opportunity to see the construction progress onsite from the sky with an exclusive helicopter ride.

The Sunshine Coast Lightning's dynamic duo Laura Scherian and Kelsey Browne joined the winners for a flight over the Coast and their premiership winning training ground at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

AVID Property Group General Manager Queensland Bruce Harper said the site has become a hive of activity in the last six months.

"In anticipation of our latest land release, we wanted to give people a first-hand look at how much the development has come to life - and what better way than from the sky," Mr Harper said.

"Construction has ramped up onsite towards the opening of the Sales Hub and Display World and we are on track for the first residents to move in later this year.

"Taking off from Harmony, the winners were also able to fly over the array of amenities in the area like the University of the Sunshine Coast, the new Kawana regional healthcare precinct, shopping precincts at Sippy Downs and Kawana, and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

"The Sunshine Coast has so much to offer residents and we really wanted to showcase the Coast's enviable lifestyle with pristine beaches and stunning hinterland right on your doorstep."

The Harmony in the Air event was ran in celebration of Harmony's latest land release, Prosperity 3A, which has been fast-tracked to meet demand in the ever-growing region.

An additional 54 land lots will provide buyers with a diverse range of land that offers them the opportunity to customise their new home to suit their lifestyle.

"Providing choice is important to us as we know that no two buyers' needs are the same," Mr Harper said.

"Catering to a variety of lifestyles and budgets, our lots range in size from 250m² - 781m² and start from just $219,400.

"With the opening of Harmony's main entry road, Peter Crosby Way, people can now get on site, visit our temporary sales office and see the progress at Harmony for themselves."

With a number of major construction milestones coming up this year, locals will soon be able to experience Harmony's Display World, which will showcase 43 quality homes from an experienced team of 25 national and local builders.

Set to become the largest display village on the Sunshine Coast, Harmony Display World will live up to its name, providing a world of opportunity and choice for home buyers.

Over the next 15 to 20 years, Harmony will deliver more than 4800 quality homes, 100ha of parklands and a new Town Centre.
