A Nambour man found with nothing but a G-string on around his ankles, socks and sunglasses was sprung after pleasuring himself on the veranda of an aged care home.

Vincent Michael Piscioneri told police he wasn’t on drugs on July 8, 2022 after his protracted self-love session was interrupted by security and later on police where he was arrested.

Maroochydore Magistrates Court heard a security guard saw the 50-year-old former truckie sprawled on a unit’s porch about 2.40am pleasuring himself.

Police prosecutor Mick Ruddiman said the security guard shined his torch on him and asked Piscioneri “what the hell are you doing” and told him to leave.

Piscioneri walked away a few metres before lying down and pleasuring himself again, the court heard.

The security guard asked the Nambour man to leave multiple times before he jumped over a fence and fled the scene.

Sergeant Ruddiman said police found Piscioneri about 3.15am the same morning in a walkway at another Nambour address lying down and masturbating once again.

The court heard this time he was wearing nothing but rose tinted sunglasses, a G-string around his ankles and socks.

Piscioneri told police he wasn’t on drugs or alcohol however officers declined to interview him due to their belief he was affected by something.

The ex-truckie was arrested by police only several weeks earlier about 7am on June 26, 2022 in Nambour where he kicked a police officer’s leg after saying he’d “cave” their head in with an aerosol can.

Solicitor Liesel Rogan said Piscioneri eventually accepted he was affected by a substance during his self-love session and had limited memory of the “bizarre” night.

Ms Rogan said the former truckie had made steps to address his mental health and physical health and said the incidents were out of character.

Magistrate Rod Madsen labelled the masturbation incident as “obscene”.

Piscioneri pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting police, two of an indecent act in any place and one of public nuisance and obstructing police.

He was sentenced to 12 months’ probation, with a conviction recorded.
