A man is being treated by paramedics after a garbage truck hit power lines while lifting a bin on the Sunshine Coast.
Emergency services were called to Mallet St in Kunda Park about 10am following reports a garbage truck had struck the power line while lifting a bin.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the driver was out of the vehicle and was being looked over by paramedics.
He was in a stable condition, the spokeswoman said.
Firefighters were also called to the scene, along with Energex.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said there were no traffic issues following the incident.
Energex was also advised.
It was a busy morning for emergency services, which have also responded to a crash, a snake bite, a dirt bike rescue mission and more.
A QAS spokeswoman confirmed paramedics transported one stable patient to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a vehicle and bicycle incident on Peregrine Drive and Nicklin Way at 6.27am this morning.
She said a male in his 30s suffered back and neck pain from the crash, but had no serious injuries.
A QFES spokesman confirmed four crews were called to a dirt bike track just after 9pm last night.
“The first crew arrived about 9.10pm where someone needed rescuing on a motorbike dirt track. Not a crash,” he said.
“They’d become dehydrated.
“The rescue process took about half an hour and was all wrapped up by 11.15pm.”

A QAS spokeswoman confirmed a paramedic unit was also on scene.
She said a man in his 40s was treated for dehydration and was transported to Caboolture Hospital in a stable condition.
Early this morning QAS also responded to a crash in the hinterland.
A single-vehicle crash occurred on Peachester Road just prior to 3am. A male in his 20s was transported in a stable condition for precautionary measures to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Earlier last night, at Montville, a woman was bitten by a snake.
Paramedics transported one stable female patient in her 30s to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a reported snake bite at a private address at 7.03pm.
