A 43-year-old removalist who was seen skulking around outside a Coolum gym squatted against a wall and pulled his penis out at the sight of a young woman.

A young woman was subjected to a creepy 43-year-old Urangan man’s penis after he flopped it out at a Coolum fitness centre.

Gymgoers at Fitstop Coolum saw Shaun Craig Reynolds loitering in the carpark about 6.50am on September 30 before his indecent flash.

Police prosecutor Bec Lambert said the 43-year-old had been walking closely to several women entering and leaving the gym.

Maroochydore Magistrates Court heard Reynolds had been fiddling with a bag he was holding while he walked behind several women.

A young woman then left the gym and walked to her car as Reynolds followed.

He then succumbed to his urges and squatted, pulled out his penis and leant against a wall while he looked at her.

Senior Constable Lambert said the young woman was shocked and ran straight into the gym and asked for help.

CCTV footage showed Reynolds had been loitering outside the gym while looking at women and pointing his camera phone at them.

He was not charged over the filming, but was picked up by police on November 21 and charged with wilful exposure.

Defence lawyer Christopher Lumme said the cabinet-maker had since moved to Hervey Bay to open a new office for a removal business.

Magistrate Richard Lehmann said there was clearly some premeditation to Reynolds’ disturbing flash.

Reynolds pleaded guilty to wilful exposure and was fined $150, with a conviction recorded.
