Court documents alleged Mr Uluhan and the other man were arguing about 6.15pm on February 19 when the victim accused the 63-year-old of intentionally pressing their doorbell several times over the past 12 months.

In the bail affidavit, the victim alleged Mr Uluhan had also placed rubbish into his garden several times over several years.

About 6.40pm the victim was waiting outside for an Uber Eats order when he saw Mr Uluhan riding his bike home, upon which the victim challenged the 63-year-old about harassing him and his family.

Court documents alleged a fight broke out.

According to the victim he allegedly kicked Mr Uluhan’s hand as he saw the 63-year-old was holding something before he suffered a cut to his right thigh.

Court documents alleged Mr Uluhan began to walk inside and at that moment the victim saw blood on his shirt and realised he had been allegedly stabbed.

“Did you just stab me … did you just stab me,” the victim allegedly said in court documents.

Police quickly descended on the scene and spoke to Mr Uluhan who said the victim owned the knife and had disarmed the victim which caused the wound to the stomach.

Mr Uluhan allegedly washed his hands and the knife after the incident and told police this was because he didn’t want to “contract any potential diseases” from the victim.

Detectives seized several hunting and folding style knives in the home which had been sharpened, leaving distinct markings and patterns on the blades.

In the bail affidavit, police alleged Mr Uluhan has been involved in “lengthy neighbourhood disputes” with nearby residents over several years.

Court documents said the 63-year-old had been sentenced on a wilful damage charge which happened about 1.30am on February 15 2021 when he threw rubbish into a neighbour’s pool.

Police said in court documents residents had pinned Mr Uluhan, dressed in all black and wearing a black balaclava, to the ground during the incident.

The bottles thrown in the pool contained engine and transmission oil.

Mr Uluhan pleaded guilty to wilful damage on May 17 2021 and was given a recognisance order of $500 for 12 months with no conviction recorded.

He was then ordered to pay $2660.74 in restitution.

During his bail application on Thursday, Magistrate Haydn Stjernqvist asked defence lawyer Neesha Maidwell what conditions Mr Uluhan would abide by.

“Are they going to throw all of his knives in the recycle bin?” he said.

Mr Uluhan was granted bail to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on April 1 under strict conditions.
