A man has been charged after the car he was driving was pulled over with a police search taking place.

A pair has been searched on a busy road near a Sunshine Coast shopping complex.
Detectives and police officers were seen with a man and woman outside the Pacific Paradise Coles complex on David Low Way near Mudjimba Rd about 9.50am today, June 12.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said officers intercepted a black Holden Commodore about 9.30am today after reports the vehicle allegedly lost control in the northbound lanes of David Low Way, near the intersection with Menzies Drive, Pacific Paradise.
“The driver, a 28-year-old Bli Bli man, was charged with one count each of driving while disqualified, drive unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle and possess suspected stolen property,” she said.
The police spokeswoman said the driver was scheduled to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on July 1.
Police have impounded the car and seized several tools found in the car for further investigation.
