A young man has been filmed entertaining drivers and passengers stuck on a major Queensland road with a guitar solo, playing a riff from a famous metal band.
In a video published on a Sunshine Coast Instagram page, a young man was filmed playing a guitar solo to drivers and passengers in traffic at a standstill reportedly on the Bruce Hwy.
The guitarist was filmed playing a riff in Master of Puppets, a song by Metallica, with an amp and a “roadie” on the bonnet of a vehicle as others watched from the side of the road.
It was published yesterday as motorists started to make their way to holiday destinations across the state.
Online spectators had a ball in the comment section with many complimenting the young guitarist for his “insane talent” and perfect riff.
“Master of parked up,” one commenter said.
“Metallicar,” another commenter said.
The Queensland Police Service urged drivers to have patience and drive safely ahead of the Easter break.
Sunshine Coast Police Superintendent Craig Hawkins said more than 60 lives had already been lost on Queensland roads this year.
“Each of these deaths is a tragedy,” he said.
“As we head into the school holidays, the roads will be especially busy with lots of holiday makers on the move.
“I’m urging everyone to be patient when you are on the roads, especially with the recent wet weather.
“We don’t want any more lives impacted by traffic crashes this Easter and are encouraging everyone to slow down, drive responsibly and to the conditions.”
