Paramedics have looked over four people following a four-vehicle crash on a major Sunshine Coast road.
Emergency crews were called to the Sunshine Mwy in Coolum Beach, about 2.30pm today, after reports of a four-vehicle crash.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said three cars and a truck were involved and the north and south lanes were blocked.
He said police were on their way to the crash.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said four people were being looked over.
She said one elderly woman would be transported to hospital, along with a man in his 40s with a head injury.
The other two would not require transport, she said.
