A Maroochydore woman who was barred from visiting her partner’s home was found by police in his bed after they’d had sex.

Ainsley Paige Cecchin, 31, pleaded guilty in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Wednesday to contravening a police protection notice.

Cecchin lifted her shirt up to reveal her breasts to the courtroom as proceedings started, however only police prosecutor Rebecca Lambert saw the bizarre situation unfold and did not raise it with the court.

The court heard police had issued a notice on June 28 barring Cecchin from approaching him within 50m or being within 100m of his Landsborough home.

However, officers were called to the Landsborough home on Tuesday, July 6, after reports Cecchin was seen there.

Police prosecutor Rebecca Lambert said Cecchin’s partner told police that he hadn’t seen her but after searching for her, officers found Cecchin in his bed.

Duty lawyer Michael Robinson said Cecchin had told him her partner had given “enthusiastic consent” for her to be there.

Cecchin told the court she and the man had been having sex when police arrived.

Senior Constable Lambert said despite the man consenting to Cecchin being at his home, the police protection notice clearly prevented her from going anywhere near the property.

The court heard Cecchin was on a suspended sentence at the time of her arrest, which was wholly activated for three months on Wednesday.

She was convicted and sentenced to seven days in jail for breaching the notice.

Cecchin was granted immediate parole and urged to seek changes to the order if she hoped to see her partner again.
