I SUPPORT students taking time off school to protest inaction on climate change. If it's OK for adults to take time out of their work day to protest and strike, it's OK for students.

Climate change will affect their lives and their children's lives more than our lives.

It's refreshing to see that this is the most proactive socially and politically-aware generation of children to date.

They have a voice and deserve to be heard. While we prepare for retirement and death, children have many years ahead of them.

We need to listen. We need to act and make amends for our mistakes, excesses and mismanagement of resources.
