I FEEL the current situation where salaries have been relatively stagnant over the past five years at a time when the costs of living, particularly utility bills, have soared, will be the lid on the coffin for the current government.
The government's additional plan to cut company taxes in order to generate more jobs is naive in the extreme.
The evidence is there already when big business profits are announced in the same breath as job cuts.
Irrespective of Bill Shorten's lack of supposed popularity it is difficult to foresee any other result than a damning repercussions election defeat for the current incumbents.
