STEVE Dickson was our local member and a minister in the State Government then chose to jump ship and stand for One Nation, only to be rejected by voters.

From there he spiralled into a nosedive hastened by his trip to the US and bogus meeting with the US National Rifle Association.

He and Ashby, another gullible fool, walked straight into an Al Jazeera TV trap with fake National Rifle Association members.

No check on the credentials of the people at the meeting and so impressed that they were genuine they big noted themselves with ludicrous statements.

Then Dickson goes to a strip club and falls into another trap set by Al Jazeera and embarrasses himself even more with female performers.

Now he pays the price for stupidity as he is booted out of the One Nation Party shamed, credibility destroyed and character tarnished with his political career in shreds.

It is uphill from here as it will be hard to find an employer who will employ him with a history like that. He has crash landed and it will take time to put the pieces back together.

He has demonstrated how you can't trust people, particularly in politics.
