Teen rushed to hospital after Parklands motorbike crash

A teenager has been rushed to hospital with abdominal injuries after he crashed his motorbike into a tree on a Sunshine Coast property.

A young teenage boy has been rushed to hospital after he crashed his motorbike into a tree on a Sunshine Coast property.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were called to the private property in Parklands at 4pm on Thursday afternoon to reports of the bike crash.

A 14-year-old boy was found with potentially life-threatening abdominal injuries after the crash, and was rushed to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Motorcyclist, driver injured in two Coast crashes

Two people were taken to hospital following separate accidents in Landsborough and Beerwah on Tuesday morning, occurring within an hour of each other.

The first happened at 6.23am when a man crashed his motorcycle on Lenco Crescent in Landsborough.

According to a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman, the man suffered a head injury and was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Just 25 minutes later, emergency services responded to a single-vehicle crash on Steve Irwin Way in Beerwah.

A woman involved in the crash was also taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, with QAS confirming she was also in a stable condition.
