A middle-aged man has been rushed to hospital with back and leg injuries after he was hit by a car while riding his bike on the Sunshine Coast.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at Carter Rd, Nambour, about 8.45am, Thursday morning.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the cyclist was a man in his late 40s.
They said he was rushed to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with back and leg injuries with critical care paramedics.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said they had one crew there until 9.20am.
Police were also on scene.
