No structures are at risk and paramedics are on standby for assistance, but no one has been treated.
In a separate incident, several reports regarding a fire at Steve Irwin Way in the Glass House Mountains came through about 11.30am.
The spokeswoman said the job had initially come through as a vehicle on fire, but had actually been a chicken house aflame surrounded by grass.
Crews had the fire contained within about 10 minutes and spent a bit of time mopping up.
