Booming activewear brand LSKD has taken the country by storm and will be opening a brand new store on the Sunshine Coast this weekend – one of three new Queensland stores this year.
The Queensland activewear empire’s Sunshine Coast opening is set to be a massive morning – with an epic launch featuring a DJ and activewear exchange.
LSKD, which began in Logan, headlines a wave of new retailers set to open at Sunshine Plaza.

LSKD
A booming Logan activewear chain, LSKD is known for providing top-tier activewear.
LSKD founder and chief executive Jason Daniel launched the brand in 2007 as a wholesaler, with its headquarters in Loganholme, south of Brisbane.
The brand transitioned in 2019 to e-commerce, and achieved $50m in a global turnover in 21-22.
Mr Daniel said he was very excited about the brand’s latest adventure.
“It’s our tenth store and ninth in Australia,” he said.
“It’s very exciting and will be such a great location.”
The activewear store is giving Sunshine Coast customers the unique opportunity to be part of an epic tight swap.
“We will have 300 pairs of leggings (tights) and 300 pairs of shorts to give away,” Mr Daniel said.
“You just have to bring in an old pair to swap and we will donate them to be recycled.”
From the most recent LSKD store opening, at Carindale last year, Mr Daniel said they were expecting lines of more than 700 people at the Sunshine Plaza this weekend.
The new Sunshine Coast store is one of the three new Queensland store openings this year – with stores expected to open in Toowoomba and at the Gold Coast later.
“We work a lot with the local fitness community based on functional fitness,” Mr Daniel said.
“There will be a team of 10 employees there – all Sunshine Coast locals.
“We also have a brand new fabric launching Thursday night which will be featured at the opening along with a localised T-shirt for the Sunshine Coast on sale.
“Each store has a local community shirt designed just for them.”
The LSKD’s brand mission is “to inspire you to be 1 per cent better every day”.
The store is opening Saturday at 8.30am.
The first 300 customers given the opportunity to take part in the free tights/shorts swap, there’s exciting prizes to be won, a DJ, and more.
The new store is located on the Sunshine Plaza ground floor, next to Rip Curl.
Parking is at the Sunshine Coast Plaza. It’s recommended to arrive early as massive queues are expected.
Zambrero
Popular Mexican fast food chain Zambrero is opening soon on the Riverwalk.
Delicious, Mexican inspired food made from fresh ingredients, Zambrero also strive to help end world hunger.

The Spice Hut
An Indian eatery opening in the food court at the Sunshine Plaza at Maroochydore.
