A police officer has been stood down over allegedly drink-driving while off duty.
The 36-year-old man senior constable from the North Coast Region was charged with drink-driving, allegedly while off duty.
Police said the officer was stood down from the Queensland Police Service and was expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 6.
Police said the officer faces allegations of misconduct but that does not mean the allegations have been substantiated.
