Late-night crashes send four men to hospital across Sunshine Coast

A series of overnight crashes, including falls from e-bikes and e-scooters, left four people hospitalised across the Sunshine Coast.

Emergency services attended several crashes across the Sunshine Coast overnight, with four people hospitalised following separate incidents involving motorcycles, e-scooters, e-bikes, and a car.

The first incident occurred in Buderim at 8.22pm, where a motorcyclist in his 20s sustained leg injuries after crashing on Karawatha Drive. He was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

At 10.07pm in Caloundra, a man in his 20s fell from an e-scooter on Canberra Tce, suffering minor facial injuries. He was also transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Shortly after midnight, at 12.37am, a man in his 20s crashed his vehicle into a tree on Netherton Street, Nambour. He sustained shoulder and chest injuries and was taken to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.

The final incident of the night occurred in Noosaville at 1.17am, where a man in his 40s suffered head injuries after falling from an e-bicycle on Lake Weyba Road. He was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
