Dashcam footage has captured the moment a tailgating driver gets brake-checked on the Bruce hwy, causing a huge smash involving multiple cars and trucks.

Dashcam footage has captured the moment a tailgating driver gets brake-checked on the Bruce hwy, causing a huge smash involving multiple cars and trucks.
The footage, caught on a truck’s dashcam, shows a P-plate driver in a Mazda 3 hatchback tailgating a Subaru Outback wagon while travelling northbound on the Bruce Hwy at Palmview around 2pm last Wednesday.
The driver of the Subaru brake-checks twice causing the Mazda to swerve across three lanes, in front of one truck and crashing into the side of another.
The footage then shows the driver of the Mazda stepping out of the car, uninjured, as other drivers rush to help.
The Subaru doesn’t appear to sustain any damage and can be seen driving away from the crash.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said no charges had been filed.
