Timo and Melanie Kent came home to find their house fully alight and emergency crews battling the blaze.

They lost everything in the fire, able to salvage only a few photos from a photo album.

Police investigations into how exactly the couch caught alight are ongoing, but Queensland Fire and Emergency Services investigations have concluded.
