Driver ploughs car through fence in early morning Stanthorpe crash

Police are investigating how a man crashed his car in a shocking crash on the Southern Downs.

A driver was lucky to escape serious injuries after ploughing through a fence and rolling his car on Friday.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Amiens Road and Andreatta Lane in Pozieres at 6.12am after reports of a car rollover.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the man drove through a fence before rolling his car.

The male driver was fortunately uninjured in the crash.

The QPS spokeswoman said police are investigating the cause of the incident and talking with the driver.
