A man in his 30s was flown to hospital after a passer-by reportedly found his car lying upside down in a field at The Gums, near Tara.

A person reportedly drove the injured man to Tara Hospital after discovering the damaged car on the corner of the Leichhardt Highway and Bullockhead Road about 3.30pm.
