Tractor and grass fire break out in Booie

A tractor caught fire east of Kingaroy on Sunday morning, sparking a grass fire that firefighters worked to control.

Firefighters are responding to a tractor and a grass fire in Booie.

Firefighters responded to a tractor and a grass fire in Booie, located about 12km east of Kingaroy, following a Triple-0 call about 11am on Sunday.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman confirmed two fire crews were dispatched to put out the two blazes.

“There’s reports of a small grass fire and a small tractor on fire,” the spokeswoman said.

After about 20 minutes both fires were extinguished.
