The man is charged with 11 counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, two of indecent treatment of children under 16 and one of attempted indecent treatment of a child under 16.

His appearance on Tuesday, August 15, was excused and he was represented by lawyer Patrick Quinn.

“There is 90 gigabytes of material so I wish to seek an adjournment to obtain this material and present it,” Sergeant Stevens said.

It is alleged the man sexually assaulted a 36-year-old woman between September 2017 and January 2020, and a 15-year-old girl between December 2022 and February 2023, allegedly both known to him.
