A man in his 40s has been airlifted to hospital after a ute smashed into a cattle truck on a rural road.

A man in his 40s has been airlifted to hospital with a head injury after his car hit a cattle truck and rolled in Durong.
Initial reports suggest the driver of a white utility has attempted to overtake a cattle truck while it was turning left at an intersection on Chinchilla Wondai Road, a Queensland Police spokesman said.
The ute has clipped the side of the truck and rolled.
Emergency service were called to the scene at 8.30am on Sunday, August 8, where three people were extricated from both vehicles and assessed by paramedics.
One man was flown to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition with a head injury.
