A 50-year-old man has been left fighting for his life in hospital in after being bitten by a snake in the Somerset region.
Paramedics arrived at the private residence in Kilcoy just before 3.30pm on Thursday afternoon.
The man, who was in a serious condition, was quickly taken to Caboolture Hospital.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman could not confirm what type of snake it may have been.
