South Burnett teen charged with armed robbery, stealing

A 14-year-old South Burnett boy has been charged with armed robbery and stealing after a business was allegedly robbed over the weekend.

A South Burnett teenager has been charged after he allegedly threatened a shop assistant with a knife and demanded money.

The 14-year-old Murgon boy has been charged with armed robbery and stealing after a business on MacAlister St was robbed about 6.15pm on Sunday, April 27.

According to police, he demanded they give him money, which the staff member handed over without resisting.

He was due to appear in Murgon Children's Court on Tuesday, April 29.
