The highly anticipated opening of Hungry Jacks at Kingaroy has arrived, with 80 passionate employees hired from around the region.
Hungry Jacks Kingaroy will open its doors to the public on Saturday, June 3 at 9am, with the first 100 customers receiving a free Whopper.
There is face painting for all guests and the Hungry Jacks’ mascot will parade around the restaurant for Insta-worthy snaps.

District manager Danielle Eagle said she was very excited to be bringing the brand to the community.

“We’ve had great reception so far. I joined the ‘Kingaroy needs a Hungry Jacks’ Facebook page over 10 years ago and tomorrow we finally open,” Mrs Eagle said.
“We received over 300 applicants and have hired 80 staff members, including six full-time managers who have been in training for the last 12 weeks in restaurants across the state.
“Our target is to reach 100 employees so we are definitely still hiring,” she said.
Mrs Eagle said the Kingaroy store would pride itself on bringing “classic country hospitality” to the region.
The franchise had already received an overwhelmingly positive response from the community.
Employees walking around Kingaroy in their uniforms had had “electric” interactions with local residents.
“Everyone has been asking when we open and it really heightens our passion.
“We can’t wait to deliver our quality food, wholesome service and values to the South Burnett.
“The facility is brand new and beautiful, it’s a place you will come and want to spend time in,” she said.
