Goomeri Gourmet markets provide feast of free family fun

THE Goomeri Gourmet and Twilight Market is back, offering live music, food stalls and family fun.
The markets will be held in the Goomeri market square on Saturday, November 23 from 4pm to 8pm.
The free event, presented by Goomeri Pumpkin Festival and Goomeri Project, will feature a games alley and rides alongside the craft and food market stalls.
Wood-fired pizzas from Pizza by Fraser Coast Wood Fired Ovens will be one of a selection of food trucks and stalls at the markets, with tornado potatoes another popular option at the event.
Other popular menu items on offer include the wings stands menu, fully-loaded fries and deep-fried Oreos with a chocolate sauce.
The markets will feature two ice-cream trucks including the Luscious Licks Rocket Roadshow which will have vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free options to make sure everyone is able to cool down.
The twilight markets are a pet-friendly event and all entertainment will be free.
The main stage will be lit up with some of the best local performers, with Ausphonic to perform from 4pm ahead of the Goomeri Community Choir, led by Louise Winton, at 5pm.
Natalie Fenton will share her captivating vocals with a blend of country, pop and original tunes at 6pm.
Keeping It Alive and Deal'n will finish off the twilight event with their classy sounds.
