Emergency crews attend Wooroolin fire, Glastonbury crash

Emergency crews were called to two separate incidents in the Wide Bay-Burnett region overnight with a man falling into a fire and a vehicle rolling in a crash. DETAILS

A young man has been taken to hospital after falling into a fire at a private property in the South Burnett region overnight.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said a crew was called to Woods Rd in Wooroolin, southwest of Gympie, at 12.45am with reports a man had fell into a fire.

The spokesman said the man aged in his 20s received burns to his back, arms and legs and was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.

Less than two hours later, emergency services were called to a single vehicle rollover along Glastonbury Rd in Glastonbury.

The spokesman said paramedics attended to two patients with one person taken to Gympie Hospital and the other declining further treatment.
