Kings Royal in Kingaroy draws a massive crowd over the Australia Day long weekend and there were hundreds of people getting ready for opening night on Friday.

Blistering heat could not dampen the enthusiasm of hundreds of speedway fans as they descended on the Kingaroy Showgrounds ahead of the 2025 Kings Royal this weekend, the biggest modified sedan event of its kind in Australia.

The 13th annual Kings Royal boasts tens of thousands of dollars in prize money and competitors from all over Australia. It will include 4th Annual Production Sedan Stampede, the seventh annual Queens Royal and street stocks.

Can Dylan Barrow keep his crown this weekend, or will someone be good enough to take it from him?
