Five people have appeared in court charged with affray after they were arrested over a McDonald’s melee in Roma.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said police charged five people following an (alleged) altercation that occurred in Roma on Sunday, June 23.
“It will be alleged about 2.50am, police were called to a Bowen St business following reports of an altercation,” the spokesperson said.
“Following investigations police have charged five people.”
Mallita Wolf, Elijah Yanto David Hall, Gypsy-Lee Jackson, Jamie Dennis Jackson, and Jack Thomas Fing appeared in Roma Magistrates Court on July 16, all charged with affray.
Mr Hall and Ms Jackson were also charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.
All defendants were between 18 and 20 at the time of the alleged incident.
Police prosecutor Ellysha Geddes said the prosecution was offering no evidence the the charges of assault occasioning bodily harm against Elijah Yanto David Hall and Gypsy-Lee Jackson.
Magistrate Michael Wood dismissed those charges.
All five matters were adjourned to August 21 for a next mention.
