A truck driver has suffered a life-threatening head injury after a truck rollover on a remote western Queensland road.
Emergency services were called to Crossroads Rd at Yuleba North, 86km east of Roma, about 4.09pm Monday after reports that a truck had rolled.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics treated a man in his 30s who suffered a life-threatening head injury in the crash.
Emergency services remained on scene until about 6.30pm when the man was flown by a rescue helicopter to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The crash comes after a horror period on roads across the Darling Downs after three people were killed in two separate crashes at the weekend.
Frances Rooke, a 45-year-old motorcyclist, died in a single vehicle crash about 20km south of Moonie on the Leichhardt Highway on Friday.
Polair was deployed to search the highway and police located Ms Rooke dead on Sunday.
Later that day two cars collided head-on near the intersection on Greenmount-Etonvale and McNallys roads at about 6.30pm, at Greenmount.
A 64-year-old Greenmount woman was killed in the collision, while the two drivers suffered serious head, chest and leg injuries.
Then at about 10.30pm two trucks collided head-on at Millmerran, causing one of the vehicles to burst into flames.
