RACQ CapRescue respond to horse fall incident at rural Ogmore property

A man in his 60s airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital after he fell from a horse and was dragged a considerable distance remains in a serious condition.
The man fell from the horse on a rural property north of Rockhampton on Saturday night.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics were called to the incident at the property at Ogmore at 7.26pm.
RACQ CapRescue was also tasked to the incident and left Rockhampton at 7.30pm.
According to the rescue helicopter service, the man fell from the horse and was dragged before being able to break free.
He suffered chest injuries and numerous lacerations.
The RACQ CapRescue flight medical team assisted paramedics to stabilise the man for transport to hospital in the rescue helicopter.
On Monday, May 27, a Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service spokeswoman said the man was in a serious but stable condition.
