Man, 19, taken to hospital after stabbing on Yeppoon Rd, Limestone Creek

A 19-year-old Queensland man taken to hospital after a suspected stabbing which caused him to knock on stranger’s doors for help has left hospital. UPDATES

A 19-year-old taken to hospital after a suspected stabbing in the Rockhampton region on Friday has left hospital.

On Monday, May 27, a Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service spokeswoman said the teenager had left Rockhampton Hospital.

Emergency crews were called to Yeppoon Rd, Limestone Creek about 9.38pm Friday.

According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, the young man had suffered multiple wounds to his leg and was transferred from to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.

A police spokeswoman confirmed officers were aware of the “wounding” and it was understood the injured man had attended a number of addresses seeking help.

However, the spokeswoman said the man had provided few details and the wounds were inflicted by “unknown persons”.

As a result, no arrests have been made.
