Worrells liquidator Michael Beck in court for alleged violence offences
The principal of a well-respected Central Queensland business has been charged for allegedly committing violent offences.

A registered liquidator and bankruptcy trustee is facing violence allegations with five charges currently before a Central Queensland court.
Worrells Rockhampton and Mackay principal Michael John Beck, 42, has been charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm and four counts of common assault.
According to court files, all of the offences allegedly took place at The Range.
The files showed the AOBH allegedly took place on October 8, 2023, while two of the common assault charges took place on July 17, 2023 and the other two allegedly took place on May 20, 2023 and August 14, 2023.
His charges were mentioned in Rockhampton Magistrates Court yesterday.
Defence lawyer Nick Crawford said there had been a disclosure request made but there had been an issue with technology and defence had only received that disclosure material on September 18 after prosecution resent it.
He requested a three-week adjournment to review that material.
Mr Crawford said it was likely the charges would be contested.
No pleas have been entered and Mr Beck is currently on bail.
Mr Beck’s charges were adjourned to October 23.
