Man stable after car hits motorbike then O’Dowds pub in Rockhampton
A motorbike rider is in a stable condition after a collision with a car which blocked streets and a train track in Rockhampton.

A male motorcycle rider in his 70s is in a stable condition after a car collided with a motorbike then hit O’Dowds pub in Rockhampton.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the man was riding a Honda motorcycle when the accident with the Subaru Crosstrek occurred about 11.30am on Denison Ln and William St.
The Subaru collided with the motorbike then hit a timber post supporting an awning at O’Dowds pub.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman had no information about the rider’s injuries but said he was in a stable condition after he was thrown from the motorbike.
He was subsequently taken to Rockhampton Hospital.
Several streets were temporarily blocked and trains were also halted, reportedly causing large traffic jams.
Roads have since reopened.
