Motorcycle accidents in Rockhampton and Gladstone

Three male motorcyclists, from a young teen to a man in his 60s, are no longer in hospital following single motorbike accidents across Central Queensland.

Three male motorcyclists, from a young teen to a man in his 60s, are no longer in hospital following single motorbike accidents over the weekend in Central Queensland.

Paramedics took a man in his 60s involved in an accident about 2.30pm on Messmate Dr in Miriam Vale to Gladstone Hospital on Sunday, September 29.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said there were no injuries reported and Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service confirmed he left the hospital of his own accord.

However, two motorcyclists were injured in accidents in the Rockhampton region and taken to hospital on Saturday.

Paramedics rushed a stable male patient with ankle injuries following a single-motorcycle crash at on Yeppoon Rd, Ironpot at 4.50pm.

He was discharged from Rockhampton Hospital on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, paramedics took a young male teen motorcyclist with a right leg injury in a stable condition to hospital after he was also involved in a single motorbike accident.

However, the accident occurred on a private property about 4km away at Mulara, halfway between Rockhampton and Yeppoon, on Saturday.

On Tuesday, a Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service spokeswoman said he was discharged from Rockhampton Hospital.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said they received the Triple-0 call for the boy’s accident at 11.16am.
