Police are hunting an armed robber who held up a taxi driver at a Central Queensland service station.
Footage of the robbery at Park Avenue has been released by Rockhampton police in the hope it will help in their investigation.
About 2am Tuesday a 68-year-old taxi driver was refuelling his car at a Richardson Rd service station when he was approached by a man.
The man demanded the taxi driver’s keys, threatening him with a knife before leaving on foot.
The driver sustained a non-life-threatening injury during the incident but did not require hospital treatment.
The man is described as approximately 19, First Nations in appearance, with a slim build and a small plait at the back of his head.
He was wearing a grey long-sleeved shirt, navy cap, black face mask, white Nike sneakers and dark shorts.
Police are asking the man, or anyone who may know him, to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
