About 1.30am Friday, January 5, unknown people “forcibly” entered the UGL car yard and office on the corner of Farm and Alexandra streets.
The people entered the car yard through a fence and while at the premises the office and safes were also broken into and keys were stolen.
Three vehicles, all Toyota HiLux utes, were stolen and the drivers rammed through a security fence.
The cars were later found, some with smashed windscreens, and have since been returned to the car yard.
It is understood some car keys and fuel cards that were stolen are also still missing.
A spokesman for Queensland Police Service said officers were investigating the incident and anyone with information were encouraged to contact police.
