Jeffrey Albert Lang Cranston will face court on Tuesday after allegedly driving a car into a building near Rockhampton Airport.
The 42-year-old Pink Lily man was charged with multiple offences following the incident, which happened about 4pm Monday.
Police will allege he deliberately drove a Triton ute into the office building at the RACQ CapRescue hangar on Canoona Rd.
It’s further alleged he tried to flee the scene but was arrested by police nearby.
Cranston was charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle while adversely affected by an intoxicating substance, wilful damage, unlawful entry of motor vehicle, fail to comply with duties of driver involved in crash and obstruct police.
He is expected to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court Tuesday morning.
