Man, 59, dies from lawn mower roll-over at Dixalea, south of Rockhampton

A man has died after a ride-on lawn mower rolled on a rural Queensland property.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal lawn mower roll-over in Dixalea south of Rockhampton on Sunday, February 9.

Initial investigations indicate a man was mowing the area between the fence line of a Lanigans Lane property and the Burnett Highway about 8.15am when the ride-on mower rolled.

As a result, a 59-year-old Dixalea man died at the scene.

The incident has been deemed non-suspicious, however investigations are ongoing.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
