Armed robbery investigation at United service station Allenstown

An investigation is underway over an armed robbery at a Rockhampton service station on Sunday, where a man with an ice cream in one hand and a knife in the other allegedly threatened a worker.
The Queensland Police Service is appealing for information over the alleged incident, which involved a white 2022 MG ZS which was stolen from a Yeppoon home about 1am on Saturday, March 18.
Police say initial investigation show a stolen vehicle pulled up at the United Rockhampton South (Pie Face) service station on Lower Dawson Road, Allenstown about 9.30pm before the robbery unfolded.
Security footage from the service station shows a woman exiting the vehicle and entering the store where she took a number of drinks from the fridges.
A man then enters the store, allegedly armed with a knife, takes an ice cream, walks up to the counter and takes the knife out of a casing, waves it around and appears to have an argument with the staff member.
Police have confirmed no one was injured in the incident.
The pair left together in the stolen vehicle, where another person was waiting as the driver.
There were various sightings of the vehicle throughout Rockhampton between March 18 to 20, before it was found abandoned on Hempenstall Street, Kawana.
Police are appealing for anyone who recognises the duo, or anyone with dashcam vision of the stolen MG ZS, to come forward.
