Police, ambulance surround property on Cawarral Rd after incident

Charges have been laid after police and ambulance rushed to a Cawarral property, between Rockhampton and Emu Park, on Friday.

Police have laid charges after an incident was reported at a house on Cawarral Road between Rockhampton and Emu Park on Friday morning.

A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said they were alerted at 8.35am.

At least five police cars and two ambulance vehicles were at the property.

It’s understood a crime scene was established and no one was hurt during the incident.

The road remained open to all traffic while authorities were at the scene.

There were also multiple police vehicles and officers stationed closer to Emu Park Rd.

It is understood a person has been charged and is before the courts.
