Off on the wrong foot: Man saved by firefighters, paramedics after being trapped by truck

A man in his 20s found himself in a world of hurt on Saturday afternoon after his foot got stuck under a truck.

A man in his 20s got off on the wrong foot on Saturday after his toes became trapped under a large truck in Alton Downs.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the painful situation unfolded at a private address on South Yaamba Road in the Rockhampton region around 2.57pm.
When they arrived, they found the man with his foot stuck under the Kenworth truck.
Two crews of firefighters attended the scene, and they managed to free the man’s toes from under the vehicle.
He was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
