Big and tall sizes at new Johnny Bigg store at Stockland Rockhampton

Hot on the heels of the new R.M. Williams announcement at Stockland Rockhampton, another big Australian brand has unveiled plans to set up shop at the centre. DETAILS.

A new store is coming to Stockland Rockhampton offering a wide sizing range for the “bigger and taller guy”.

Australian brand Johnny Bigg was established in 2014 and has grown to more than 80 stores across the country and is also stocked in Myer.

This publication can reveal a store is opening in Stockland Rockhampton, where Surf Dive ‘n’ Ski (which will be moving into the space formerly occupied by Loot) is near JB Hi Fi.

“We’ll be welcoming Johnny Bigg to Stockland Rockhampton in September and look forward to providing our customers with more choice in men’s apparel,” a Stockland spokesperson said.

The menswear store focuses on offering a comprehensive size range from XL to 10XL tops, 34” to 54” waist trousers, 42” to 58” suit jackets and shoes in sizes from 9 – 16 UK.

“Not to be forgotten, our tall range builds additional length in garments for the tall guy, making allowances for extra height,” their website states.

Clothing options include suits, shirts, chinos, denim, dress and casual styles along with footwear and accessories.

Johnny Bigg is a brand within the TFG and the Retail Apparel Group, which Yd, Connor and Tarocash are also under.

The latest news comes after the announcement R.M. Williams would be opening in Stockland in the former Rip Curl store.

Piercing store SkinKandy have moved locations to a larger spot, next to the QBD bookstore.
