Mackay Cricket Association Round 3/4: Senior and junior teams of the week

It was a weekend to remember for many in Mackay cricket, with four five wicket hauls and two centuries among the best performances. See who starred in every grade with our teams of the week.

Norths’ Lane Kohler continued his hot start to the season in round three. He’s already cracked 434 runs in 15 games.

It was another eventful weekend of Mackay Cricket Association action, with all four senior grades back on the field for round three, while the juniors completed round four.

Despite being only three games in, there’s no unbeaten sides left in first grade after Norths claimed a 54-run victory over Magpies.

Walkerston great Luke Jackson was first grade’s leading run-scorer with 88 in his side’s six-wicket loss to Brothers.

Across all senior and junior grades, there were two centuries and four five-wicket hauls, the most impressive of which was Iqbal Singh’s 7-18 in the Walkerston Red thirds.
